When we begin, my focus is on getting to know you—not just what’s going wrong, but who you are, what’s shaped you, and what matters most. I see therapy as a space to explore, reflect, laugh, vent, grieve, experiment, and grow. It’s collaborative and creative, sometimes light, sometimes heavy, and always tailored to you—like a fingerprint on your mental health.

My name is Nick French, and I’m the owner of Night Owl Therapy, PLLC. I’ve been practicing for over a decade and have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s complexities. I earned my Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy from Adler University in Chicago and began my career at Advocate Medical Group, working in addiction recovery. From there, I joined Urban Wellness, a group practice that deepened my work. Today, I run my own practice and continue to support both long-standing clients and those just beginning their therapy journey.
